We've been featured in Ideas Magazine's wedding issue!

I'm bursting at the seams with joy a the moment! I heard yesterday evening that I've been featured in the latest issue of Ideas magazine's annual wedding issue!!! I couldn't wait to get to the nearest book shop to get myself a copy and share it with everyone :) It goes without saying that the magazine is crammed with stunning wedding ideas and I would recommend anyone planning a wedding to get your hands on a copy. 

Leani + Ettienne | Philadelphia

I absolutely loved this wedding! Leani and Ettienne are such a sweet couple and decided to tie the knot in the little town of Philadelphia - the South African one that is :) The venue was situated on a farm just outside the town and my oh my is it gorgeous! The venue has a barn that they turned into a luxurious indoor venue and the decor on the day was tasteful and simplistic and just so pretty!

I had the opportunity to do a fun portrait shoot with Natalie Mostert in Stellenbosch not too long ago. She is a talented performer and amazing singer! Annnnnd such a natural in front of the camera - she was such an absolute joy to capture. The shoot was divided up into two - one half being soft, feminine and whimsical and the other half was more of a hardcore, edgy, rocker chick look, which combine the two sides of Natalies personality :) 

Matthew + Maxine 2nd birthday

This shoot was a little different to my usual - I got to document a 2nd birthday party for twins Matthew and Maxine and friends. The theme of the party was farm style and it was only fitting that they have it held on a farm and be able to touch and feed the animals :) The kids naturally loved it!

Tamsin + Walter's Wedding | Elgin

Tamsin and Walter's beautiful wedding was held on an apple farm in the heart of the Elgin valley. Their ceremony had absolutely breathtaking views of Elgin, guests sat on hay bales and looked down into the valley with lakes and orchards and new forrests - it was just so perfect! I couldn't believe I got to capture all that beauty!

Nina + Wynand wedding | Rawsonville

This beautiful wedding was held in the picturesque Slanghoek valley and even the pouring rain couldn't dampen the spirits of Nina and Wynand when they became husband and wife. I had the pleasure of meeting this down to earth couple some time before the big day and got excited about shooting in Rawsonville again! Nina looked exquisite an Wynand cleaned up nicely and they put together an elegant wedding for me to document to my hearts content :)

Marais family | Robertson

Meet Yolandé, Francois and their little angel Anmarie. I photographed Yolandé and Francois's wedding as well as engagement shoot in Robertson, their home town, about a year ago and was over the moon when I received an email asking to come take photos of the newest addition to the Marais family!

Different kind of boudoir shoot | Cape Town

I took these photos toward the end of last year of a client (that prefers to stay anonymous) which was kind of a boudoir styled portrait shoot. I shot everything indoors and just used natural available light. It was fun to incorporate the boxing element, which was what got this ladies' body so trim and toned! So ladies get your butts to the nearest boxing gym asap!

So this is the last part of Cassandra and Diaans beautiful wedding. They had a breathtaking ceremony in a forest which was nothing short of a fairytale, especially with Diaan in his uniform formals and Cass in her strapless gown ;)

This is part two of three of Cassandra and Diaans beautiful farm chic wedding. The resounding cool theme with blues and purple hues that came together exquisitely in an even more perfect setting on the De Uijlenes farm venue. I had such a ball with the decor as you can see! The bridesmaids dresses carried on the colour theme and with their white and fresh green fynbos mixed bouquets to match.
